Hi @Nw I'm hearing how frustrated you are with waiting and with feeling really stuck. Sometimes it can be so agonising when we're in waiting-limbo and things are outside of our control.
Is there some stuff you can do to support yourself that are within your control right now?

@Nw sometimes it can just be about finding ways to pass the time - putting our focus fully into something, whether it's the distraction of a comfort tv show or putting time into our creativity/hobbies, and if we still struggle to focus, it can help to reach out to someone, a close friend or a support helpline. Even if we just burn through an hour with those distractions, it's still one less hour of waiting to sit with.

Urgh I am so sorry to hear this, I absolutely feel ya. I think waiting is the curse of adulthood! It seems like we are always waiting; medical results, applications for housing, jobs, legal stuff. Bedtime haha. All stuff that can be out of our control, and it's the worst. I think because we have the word at our fingertips (internet) so we can get all the information, and imagine all the outcomes, but can't influence the actual thing.
I've found the only things that help me are to keep busy (go for a walk, try to immerse myself in the things I need to do that day), and to allow myself a set amount of time to stress on the thing; we have been waiting to hear about some financial assistance and I turned off email notifications and only check in at 10am each day. Otherwise I am constantly waiting, and every email notification gets my hopes up. It's brutal.
Hang in there
