Re: Stressed anxious and overwhelmed

Hey @Rosexox4496, thank you for reaching out to the community!

It's sounds like you are going through a lot at the moment and coping with that in a pregnacy would be challenging. Sitting with you today and the communtiy is here to support you.

You may already have some support with your DV but I just wanted to let you know of a few services who can support you. Please find them here: 1800RESPECT, Hoempage, and Relationships Australia.

I encourage you to continue to reach out to your peers on the Forums and they might have some insights to share with you from similar expereinces.

Thank you

RiverSeal

Re: Stressed anxious and overwhelmed

Hi @Rosexox4496

I can see that @RiverSeal has come in with some lovely support already, and I thought I'd jump in and some words of support with you 😊

I want to start off by acknowledging how much strength it takes to even voice these feelings. You are carrying an immense load, not just for your five children and bub on the way, but the weight of a relationship that is actively draining your spirit.

It is heartbreaking to hear that you feel held back from being the woman and mother you know you can be. Please know that the exhaustion and brain fog you are feeling are not a reflection of your capabilities; they are the natural result of surviving in an environment that doesn't allow you to breathe, let alone thrive. A narcissistic or abusive partner is designed to make you feel small so they can feel in control.

You deserve to be the best version of yourself, but that version cannot grow in soil that is toxic. Your priority right now is your well-being and the safety of your children. You don't have to figure out the whole future today, but please know that there are people and services, like the ones @RiverSeal mentioned, who can help you navigate the financial, physical and emotional steps towards peace.

Please take extra care of yourself 💚
