Hi all, I'm a mum and have been supporting my son who has schizophrenia, for many years now. He has been in and out of hospital multiple times and for very extended periods. There never seems to be the supports he needs, or housing, or continuity of care to make any impact and positive change in his life. I'm feeling hopeless. Can anyone help?

Hi
You may not realise the difference you are making. I am schizophrenic and have lost a career and not working. I can imagine the worries that you have in regards to the future. Without family I would have gone under. You feel responsible I would imagine. Best advice is self care at the moment but am sure you have been told that.
