Re: Finding my feet once again

This picture is of a lone male Brolga that I stumbled across on my journey of discovery .

I'm not to sure what happened , and why he was alone .

I've ever only seen breading pairs of Brolga's .

So it's had me thinking over the last year on and off

If he had lost his partner , or he was on a journey of discovery to find her .

On this day I had taken this picture

I was feeling sad my self and not doing well at all .

I didn't realise meeting this Brolga

He help me get thru the rest of my day , but had me wondering why he was alone

So I watched in orr , as he stood proud and had his chin up

I found it an honour , for him to let me get so close to take his picture .

This moment reminds that everything has it's own reasons , and I found it comforting

to stand beside this majestic male Brolga .
