Good news!

Hey everyone,          

                                                                    
Big news from here in Victoria yesterday when state parliament passed a new law to start atreaty process with First Nations people. No other Australian state has done this.

 

It will create  a new group called Gellung Warl,  It will speak for communities and be asked about laws that effect  them

 

 

It is a step in the right direction but the bill needs final approval before it officially becomes law so we hope this happens

I have been following this a bit @ArraDreaming and it's brilliant news.

Hopefully other states will follow.

Hopefully it can get final approval, it will be good to see what effect it will have.
