It's day 10, my cravings are bad tonight and there's no support person available. My partner is a heavy drinker and smoker he's been outside since lunch time bout 8 hrs now consuming his addictions with absolutely no concern for me. He's been treating me different cause I don't drink with him and I can't sit with him while he's doing this cause the temptation is to great. I'm trying really hard to push through this meltdown.

I can hear the cravings are bad tonight, where it's difficult to know where to turn for support, especially as your partner is consumed with his addictions, and treating you differently - that's no good 🥀. It's great you can identify that sitting with him is a temptation and that despite how bad it is you've been able to reach day 10 🙌. I wonder if it would help to reach out to some support services to give you some extra support to push through, and cope with the meltdown?
Have you heard of the National Alcohol & Other Drug Hotline? It's free and confidential and you can call them on 1800 250 015 🌿 You don't have to cope with things on your own 🌟
