my daughters disturbing dreams

my daughters disturbing dreams

*trigger warning*

my daughter has had two dreams over the past few weeks where she has protected me by attacking the person who is threatening me. in the latest she was with me and this young man started saying hurtful things to me so she said she pushed him over and attacked him hard [edited by moderator]

i worry for my daughter as she is obviously worried about me. she is my rock and very protective over me.

Oh @Bunniekins

Doesn't sound good! Is your daughter disturbed by the dreams?

Re: my daughters disturbing dreams

@StuF no it doesnt bother her well the act that she does on the perpetrator she says she loves me and would protect me even if that meant she would go to jail.

Hmmm @Bunniekins

I can see why you are a bit concerned but at least she's alright with it

@StuF what do they say that it is always the quiet ones that you have to watch out for.

@Bunniekins I can understand your concerns for your daughter.

could there actually be events that are linked to her dreams? (Don’t answer if prefer not to)

based on what you have mentioned, there is a possibility she is saying she is ok as doesn’t want you to get upset and worry more.

Having your daughter talking with gp or psychologist (if she has one)?

@Former-Member you are a smart cookie there are events which i believe are worrying my daughter of which i have no control unfortunately. her dreams are so violent i worry that she is being so negatively affected by what is happening around her. i worry that it will come to a head and she will act accordingly. i know she is worried about me i have seen the expressions fleet across her face... she has a good gp and psychiatrist whether she will talk is another thing.
