Something’s not right

Rolling with it part 2

Rolling with it part 2

Sorry to vent again, I am a bit of a chronic complainer, but posting here keeps me somewhat grounded.

My thoughts for today:

Are these things ever going to leave me, maybe not.

Will I keep "going through the motions" despite how I feel, hopefully.

As much as I should stay out of bed today, I didn't sleep well, but I did get up, have some toast, and take on the morning tasks, a little win.

As I am laying here, I hope life gets easier again, and the Black Dog slows up.

The tools and resources are there, I will break it eventually. I have to have a life, for me, for my family, I don't have a choice (that's what is so hard sometimes).

So I soldier on from the peace of my bed, with hopefully just a little respite from the depression and anxiety.

It's not a backward step, it's just a rest, that's what I say to myself so I am not so defeated about it.

This to will pass, eventually....

Thanks for being there, and happy RUOk day.

i like how you've said it's 'not a step backwards, it's just a rest', it's so important to be kind to ourselves hey. ✨

@rav3n thanks for the encouragement.

Stuck in a bit of a panic loop today. Lots of confusion at the moment. Just trying to ride it out at the moment. Not a big fan of the loop but it won't last forever just have to not let it consume me.

panic loops suckkkk @jrn i find that gentle self-talk and time in nature (whether its with pets, going for a walk, etc) helps me. i hope the panic feeling eases soon 💙
