Grief and loss of someone I worked with for along time

Grief and loss of someone I worked with for along time

Hey guys

I lost my OT. She ment alot to me she worked with me for 5 years, she is a mental health OT and got me my disability supports and new how to help me in a crisis. Now I am going into hospital to change meds and I will probably be in there for along time and she helped me though my last admission and now she is gone. I am heart broken. [ edited by moderator]. I think about her and obsess over her and her company. I have many diagnoses but BPD is one of them. Does anyone else get like this? And how do you cope? 😭 when you have BPD obviously relationship breakups are extremely hard no one knows how intense that pain feels well none in my circle anyway.

Hi @Bumblebee2 ,

We are sorry to hear about the loss of a therapist. We can see how much this is affecting you. It is certainly not uncommon. I have BPD, and know first hand how difficult it is.

I hope you find a way to work through this.
