Has anyone made ocre?

I have been doing this lately 

to turn into paintings 

 

I would like to hear if others have done this or similar

How do you make it? My neice and nephew have. They had an excursion to CERES a while back and their program was to make ochre @ArraDreaming

Took our oldest there when he was 3 or 4 but haven’t been back since. It’s a bit of trip for us. I go collect myself and then
I use a one of those kitchen bowls that comes with the slammer lol

From what I remember, I think I learnt the name of that when I was in high school. It was either in science or food tech lol

@ArraDreaming and to share with all, Ochre is a natural element made from sand and clay, and has the earth's natural pigment, the earthy colours and depending where you collect it. Point being it's not made by us, mother earth made this and it's traditionally used in ceremony, song and dance.
