Feeling quite hopelessness with my mother

Feeling quite hopelessness with my mother

My mother is living with my husband and I. We had always envisioned this as she doesn't have anyone else. She's been living with us for nearly 3 years now. My husband and I really thought it would be easy but it hasn't been.

  • She hasn't done anything wrong. She is just herself and we are finding it very hard to live with another person. From all of our parents my husband says my mum is the only one he could possibly live with but we aren't coping. He is going through MH challenges and I seem to now have trauma issues of abandonment and neglect that are surfacing maybe because she lives with me again. None of it has been her fault. She's always been a very oppression, unlucky person. She's kind, generous and very lovely. But why do I have these feelings of resent, and unhappiness toward her? I'm thinking to get support and I have before but can't seem to talk about it.
