As a Aussie kid I listened to the ABC radio and well remember the word “drought” being a big thing.
I am glad that the article covers many issues, improvements and solutions, but also reported on mental health impacts.

Yeah, I grew up in the Outback, so it was dry for like 95% of the year @Appleblossom! We also listened to ABC radio, and in fact, ABC TV was the only channel we had for the first few years we were there. I don't recall having so much rain and floods all the time. RiverSeal
