ADULT CHILD MOVING BACK HOME

ADULT CHILD MOVING BACK HOME

I'm wondering if anyone on this site has recently experienced this. I have many concerns including setting boundaries working together on solving issues, having a respectful relationship.

hey @mazza3 i'm not a parent myself but i can definitely relate to boundary setting and trying to resolve conflicts! especially with my parents and friends, it can be tricky having those conversations but it's also been super important. happy to hear you out if you wanted to share more 😊

I think it’s super important to have those kind of conversations straight up @mazza3 make sure everyone knows where everyone stands, what the expectations are, what are no goes etc.

I moved back in with my parents when my marriage ended about 7 years ago. Apart from discussing how much rent everyone pays we didn’t really discuss much else and I wish we did. I mean we all get on and such but sometimes things are tricky and I get frustrated.
In saying all that I’m heaps grateful that we could all move in together, it helps everyone out cause rent$$$$$$ my daughter has the most amazing relationship with my mum and it a huge support with all my mh struggles
