Physical health, finally some answers.

Physical health, finally some answers.

I got some much awaited blood test results today. It's a mix of good news and bad news.

My gp has found the most probable cause of my sever fatigue and neurological problems.

I have severe chronic vitamin b6 toxicity.

I have been on vitamins for a while because I have multiple health issues and some stomach issues. They were supposed to help, they were even recommended by my dr. Turns out even just taking a few supplements can be dangerous without proper monitoring. I only take 2 different vitamins daily, but it has been enough for it to become toxic and for my nerves to be effected.

I don't know if the residual effects will be permanent. But at least I know why it feel like I have been shutting down and the involuntary movements should lessen as my neurochemistry resets itself.

I'm sad, but getting answers really helps, it could have been much worse.

Hello @The-red-centaur , I'm so glad you finally got some answers. I know it's not exactly great news but at least you can hopefully get back to some sort of normality now. Hopefully none of it is permanent and things settle down for you.

Sending you love and hugs, we are here for you ❤️

@MissGremlin thanks.

I'd rather know what is wrong than continuously worry about what is happening.

@The-red-centaur yes that's very true.

@The-red-centaur I hope it is reversible and that there is no lasting effects on your body.

By coincidence, I was having a conversation yesterday, about the effect of physical illness on MH.

@The-red-centaur it's usually a relief to find out the biological cause of your suffering. Even better if there is a systematic way to ease it.

Thinking of you and sitting with you!

@MissGremlin and @Glisten echo my sentiments, too. We all wish for a steady recovery for you.
