Something’s not right

I don't have the strength.

I don't have the strength.

My life has fallen apart so many times, each time I have tried to rebuild, tried to stop it tumbling again.

The ground shakes and it falls, again and again.

There isn't much left to pick up anymore. I don't have the strength to build it back up, even if there was something left make.

How many times do you rebuild or transform it before you give up and concede it just isn't worth it to try again.

I don't have the 'try' inside anymore.

My health is in shambles, my life is getting ripped out from under me, my supports are being withdrawn.

I have rarely had people on my side unless they are paid to be. I can't do it anymore. I can't fight for myself and wish I had people that could fight instead.

The ndis made my life liveable, now that's changing. I can't function on a daily basis, what do I do now my support system has been withdrawn. My dreams left a while ago, now pretty much everything that gave me hope is leaving too.

I'm not suicidal, im just down. I am tired. I wish things were OK. I don't know if I'm being a realist or it's just depressive thoughts, but my life isn't worth fighting for. Even if it was im too sick and tired to try.

I accept the ndis decision. I just wish I could accept my own.

Re: I don't have the strength.

I used to find solace with the community here. I have been absent because my brain fog make communication and processing information hard.

I'm sorry I don't reply like I used to.

Re: I don't have the strength.

@The-red-centaur i hear you and I'm sorry that things have been so hard.

I totally get where you are coming from, how many times do we rebuild and keep trying when things feel so hopeless? The answer is we keep going no matter how hopeless it feels, no matter how tired we are, cos just maybe that next time you fight and rebuild, things won't come crashing down.

I know it's exhausting and it's like a never ending cycle but please hang in there, keep trying, rest if you have to for a while but never give up.

I'm sorry about the Ndis decision cos I know how much you needed all the help you could get.

Sending you lots of love and strength, you are not alone ❤️

Re: I don't have the strength.

@Former-Member i don't know how to. If I had strength i would.

My life is beyond repair. They say if you don't you health you don't have anything. I never had much, but now I don't have anything.

I'm scared of how quickly my body is becoming unusable. I'm seeing my gp today to get more answers, but I'm scared of more questions.

I'm scared it's something like MS. Or worse.

I feel trapped. I used to be able to do things, those things gave me joy and happiness. Last time i rebuilt i thought it would be a while before it was gone. The little things like cooking and painting, I can barely do anymore. The shakes and fatigue is just too much.

My shower this morning left me breathless, nearly unable to dress. I'm exhausted. Holding my phone feel like too much.

What is the point to this. Why should I have to fight the ndis or my Dr to be heard. I don't have the strength to fight for my life. And no else is going to either.

I used to believe my life was worthless. And the more I heal my trauma, my psyche, etc, the more everything else got lost. It reinforces that I'm worthless. Not because of my past, but because of my future. I don't have one. I'm a burden and a lost cause.

Re: I don't have the strength.

@The-red-centaur I'm really sorry to hear how you are feeling. I hope you can find a tiny bit of strength to keep fighting.

I'm glad you are seeing your gp today and i hope they can give you some answers and you can get some help to get through this. I understand your worries about it being something worse but try not to worry about things until you know for sure.

I hear how things that used to bring you joy have become harder to do and that makes things difficult especially when we aren't coping and don't have those things to lean on. I'm not sure what to really suggest other than to maybe when you are struggling to do simpler tasks or just do things for a short period of time.

You are not a burden or a lost cause, that hits home for me as I have been told that so many times by multiple people. But you are neither of those things and you deserve to be supported through this and everything you are going through.

I'm holding that hope and strength for you while you don't feel you can, I'm here with you ❤️.

Re: I don't have the strength.

@The-red-centaur please look after yourself, and if needed see your doctor for some assistance.

You are not obligated to "accept" the decision of the NDIS, there are so many appeal options, you can contact Legal Aid in your state or territory.

There is hope and light at the end of the tunnel, I was in your situation years ago, now I have managed to (mostly) turn it around. I have hope you can also. Sending blessings your way,

Re: I don't have the strength.

My gp ordered a barrage of tests. I slept most of the day afterwards.

I postponed the ndis til at least tomorrow. I'll face those things later. My head hurts and I can't think clearly.

Re: I don't have the strength.

@The-red-centaur I'm glad your gp is doing testing for you and I hope that can give you some answers.

Just take things one step at a time. For now let yourself rest and do some self care if you can manage. We are always here for you ❤️
