Compulsive Spending
Sometimes, depression can lead to compulsive spending and many other things that can affect and disrupt our daily lives. Compulsive spending and depression are often linked as a way of coping with emotional distress. When someone is depressed, they may seek temporary relief through shopping, as it can provide a short-lived sense of pleasure or control. However, this cycle can lead to guilt, financial stress, and deeper feelings of worthlessness, worsening depression. Without proper intervention, this pattern can become a harmful cycle that is hard to break.
