Ex Wife’s Funeral

Ex Wife’s Funeral

My divorced wife of 30 years passed away this week.
We have only seen each other at grandchildren events.
I’m trying to navigate good memories and hurts.
Our children will meet with a few of her friends in a close gathering of remembrance.
She didn’t want the normal funeral service. I want to be there but I’m not sure if I’m welcome and I don’t want to cause any trouble that my attendance may cause.

My sincere condolences @Willow7 .

Would you consider asking your family members about your attendance?

Re: Ex Wife’s Funeral

When my husband passed recently his ex wife of 20yrs ago came. We don't speak, and we didn't speak at the funeral except she gave me a hug and her condolences, and her new husband did too at the wake. It wasn't an amicable breakup for them but I had no issue that she was there, I don't believe my husband would have cared either, but she didn't ask. They had 2 kids together and grandkids..

Hope it goes well for you.
