Hey @Sweetcakes, thanks for joining the Forums and sharing your experiences with the community!
I am diagnosed with schizophrenia, which I learned last year is also neurodiverse. Helps me understand parts of my experience and life better. How do you feel about your self-diagnosis and does it help you understand yourself bettter?
Take care

Yes, recognising it has definately helped me to understand myself better. A prof. Diagnosis is what I ultimately need in order to get to the Nitty gritty, though.
It is also quite validating, as there are times when I behaved in ways I didn't understand but do now to some degree.

Hello! I am 25 year old woman, provisionally diagnosed with ASD by my psychologist this year, and exploring options for formal diagnosis. It has been a hard year, and the diagnosis came as a result of a pretty severe deterioration in mental health that has led to me having to leave my work but things are starting to get a bit better. I am hoping to connect with people in the community and feel less alone 🙂
