Re: Interview tips

hey there @Sweetcakes 😊

i don't have tips for NSW Health specifically, but i can share some that i've picked up when i interviewed for some online peer work roles:

  • reflect on your strengths and weaknesses as a peer worker. for the weaknesses - also think about how you are working on/have worked on improving it/managing it
  • think about why you want to be a peer worker, and specifically why at NSW Health - what are some company values you align with? if you haven't already, research NSW Health's values and interest areas
  • there's usually a scenario type of question, like 'tell us about a time you had a disagreement at work, how did you handle it?' - usually they like to see how you resolve conflict, and your empathy/patience towards others
  • be your authentic self!

hope these help a lil and all the best with the interview!

Re: Interview tips

I am also applying for a peer role with NSW Health and I wrote to the old email address or the peer guide group about 4 days ago and no one has got back to my personal email.

Who has taken over the peer program from Dean? I am waiting on another copy of my completed peer program certificate and a reference to give with my application which ends on Sunday night!!!!!!
