Keeping myself busy

Keeping myself busy

Currently on annual leave but go back to work in a couple days. I haven't been slacking while off work, to be honest I will be able to rest when I go back.

I have done the usual jobs of course such as laundry, lawns and so forth. I have also taken my dad on a few little road trips to get him out of the house for a bit. I also had to do a little vehicle maintenance for my dad (just the basic stuff of oil, coolant and checking the air in the tyres)

I have been planning the kitchen renovation, but I am also looking at what alterations and so forth will be required to the house to accommodate the new layout of the kitchen. There will probably be some tiles on the floor in the wet areas and might have to redo the carpet in the main of the house as well.

Re: Keeping myself busy

I can somewhat relate to this, I've been off work for awhile now, went back today. I did the same thing which was to keep myself occupied, it helped a lot I think, rather than just letting all the feelings and emotions swell up through my usual maladaptive coping. Good stuff mate, the reno sounds both fun and daunting, but exciting at the same time @Arbie_wun
