Generational Trauma

Generational Trauma

Many of us might have suffered from generational trauma. Healing from generational trauma is crucial because it breaks cycles of pain, fostering healthier relationships and emotional well-being. Unresolved trauma can manifest as anxiety, low self-worth, or dysfunctional patterns, affecting future generations. Recognizing if one is under-mothered helps us understand emotional gaps, attachment wounds, and self-nurturing challenges. It allows individuals to seek healing, develop self-compassion, and build fulfilling connections. Ultimately, addressing these issues leads to a more balanced, loving, and conscious life.

@heera72 Just wondering if you're sharing your own knowledge and experience in your posts? Or are they a blog of what you're reading? Some context would be helpful.

Certain things were based on my experience, while the other topics were from reading and something that I can relate to.

Re: Generational Trauma

@heera72 Appears I have and am impacted by intergenerational trauma, stemming from a grandparent and what she endured during her life, commencing from a child. Still trying to get my head around things.
