Anyone else forced to live in a toxic environment?

Anyone else forced to live in a toxic environment?

I guess I just want to know if anyone else has this reality? I've called every dv help line and reported family violence but due to having a disability I am unable to go to a shelter. My only option is to go to hospital or call the police and that for me is not an escape plan and has no assurance of actual safety as I may be forced to come back here which will only cause me more more harm.

so is anyone not only living in an environment where the only safety is to stay in your room and compromise hygiene and basic needs due to avoid any further emotional distress that im already barely regulating. Oh and apparently it's Christmas or something too haha anyway anyone else in this total messed up situation where you are googling Buddhism because it's how tina turner got through 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hello @Former-Member I have heard theres no money thats gone into DV shelters for disabled women. It does not make sense as the highest proportion of domestic violence affects disabled women. I read that on the internet a while ago. The stats now are like 3 out of 5 women have been subjected to violence. Christmas is one of the worst times of year for DV unfortunately. Youre going to have to try and protect yourself over this time of year. I hope one day you are able to leave your situation and live your life your own way. Yes Tina Turner went through hell with her partner and was able to start rising from all the pain she went through and co-create her own life through spiritual awakening as a Buddhist. I hope you will be ok. Every woman deserves to be safe in her own home. Please look after yourself. My wish is for you to be free of this abusive man and for you to be happy x
