Hi l haven't posted for some time but coming up to Christmas l am feeling so down and useless again. I still have no contact from family l have been chatting to a lady online in another state it appears to be ok but not sure if we will ever meet and l expect the worst that it will end suddenly .Usually if something is to good to be true it usually is in my life and l m afraid l will crash again.

@john74 Christmas is a tough time for alot of people, just remember that whilst this time comes around quickly it ends very much the same way. Try to be kind to yourself and take things at your own pace. You never know what may happen in the future but you can only but try. It's hard when you have been hurt so many times before and that it feels like that's always going to be the case. But try not to let past experiences impact what could be different this time around. Just look out for you and if it feels too much then take a step back. All the best and I hope things get easier for you.

Hi @Snowie thanks for your reply. It doesn't get any easier and this year Christmas eve is my 50 th and no one to celebrate it with. I am chatting to a lady online but not sure if it's too good to be true everything else in my life has been negative. Regards John 74

It can be a really hard time for some people to get through and a real struggle.
