Bpd struggles

Bpd struggles

I’ve been struggling to cope with my mental health in an episode for the past week, I lost my relationship due to my mental health, there is a chance on me recovering my relationship if I can manage to get my mental health back on track but I am in a regional area with a lack of support options for bpd, I’m unsure on how to proceed with getting support, is there anywhere I can look into getting support in a small area other then hospitalised, is there any suggestions on medications that can help any advice or input would be helpful, thank you

Re: Bpd struggles

@Idkonthis I'm sure someone from Sane has probably called you by now, but if they haven't - Sane has online programs and groups that you can apply for. Also applying through your local/online GP to see a local/online psychologist rather than a psychiatrist might be another idea. There is also the option of getting a social worker/nurse/carer to visit your home once in a while to help you get back on your feet? Don't forget all the CBT/ACT/DBT apps there are out there. I can't suggest meds because everyone is different and what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another.

I hope some part of this helps. Take care.
