Re: Time it takes for meds

Hey @Me2024

In my experience, new meds can take quite a while to take full effect

But if you are concerned, you're best off talking to the prescribing Dr

All the best with it

Re: Time it takes for meds

Yes it does I can’t find it now but I found it really hard to get used to when I started taking anxiety meds last year so I made a thread which documented how I felt and all that, if I can find I will let you know @Me2024 probably won’t be today though

Re: Time it takes for meds

@Me2024 It can take sometime, as medication that is used for anxiety often involve an interaction with the body depending on it's: Dosage, how it is metabolised and what it does. Some can quite literally reroute neurological pathways in your brain (Think of them as a footpath that your train of thought can follow). It can take quite some time, and be a gradual change.
Also, it sounds like it is helping, it can be helpful to remember that most medication in that sense is designed to help you control/manage your anxiety rather than negate it. Spikes can occur. 🙂 Remember you can always consult your doctor about your worries. Hope this helps!
