Connection to people who have passed

Connection to people who have passed

Does anyone find that sometimes they stumble upon an animal or a plant in nature that brings you connect to someone who has passed

I think for me it is all to do with my culture

yesterday I was walking with my kids… a bird im not sure what kind I have never seen it before flew right in front of us, very low at my eye level, and then came back and rested on the picnic table when we stopped for a play

I felt my mums presence

Interesting question@ArraDreaming.

For me it would probably be a mandarin tree. When I was a kid, we would often go around to visit my grandparents. They had a mandarin tree out the back of their unit. It was usually loaded with mandarins. Every time I see a mandarin tree, or even eat one, I think back to visiting them. I know it's not something in nature, but it's the same for Iced Vo-Vo biscuits. My grandmother kept them in a glass jar in her cupboard and I would always sneak into the kitchen and 'borrow' one.

I'm sure she knew, but it always take me back there, quietly opening a jar in her kitchen. It's a pity Iced Vo-Vos are now a pale imitation of what they were like before.

@MJG017 @ArraDreaming My mum was a natural with plants, I was the opposite until recently. Earlier this year planting dahlias in my back yard it was like I was hearing my mums voice laughingly saying, where’s my real daughter.

was few things happened at my home within first couple of weeks after my mum passed away that has left me believing she helped choose a song plus a bible verse for her funeral plus she ensured her wedding ring was not found until after her funeral.

Due to things I’ve experienced since late primary school I believe there are things in this world that can’t be explained and are about your beliefs
