I am a bit excited...after being a volunteer peer worker here on Sane, a peer worker position has popped up in my local state. I'm excited. I'm going to apply. Got nothing to lose. The experience I had on Sane hopefully will give me a helping start.

Thank you so much for your replies and encouragement. I have just come from the library where I got help to upload my resume and statements. It was exhausting. It took 3 and a half hours to do..the library staff are so wonderful.. I could not have applied if they didn't help me.

Yeah I'm now relaxing...I am happy I applied and I understand if I don't get work in this role, as their are other people with more skills and experience. But at least I tried.
Going to library again tomorrow to apply for more positions because I need a job.The library staff are saints.
