Sounds like things are really crappy. Anger usually takes away truth and common sense when some people talk... i'm guessing that such a hurtful and awful statement was said in a time of anger/confrontation.
Have you ever tried to ring life line or Suicide call back line? I've done chat with both (sadly!) i found the suicide call back line very helpful when i was feeling really unsafe.
I'm glad you've come here and posted, you're not being too forward.
do you want to chat about anything else thats happenign?

Hi,
I know how exhausting it is to feel so low, and just think about how much easier it would be to end it all. But you've fought this off before, as you said and gotten through, so you can get through again.
here's the link for the suicide call back line.. but no pressure to use it... just osmething in case it might help.

I always find it easy to remember the bad stuff that is said/done to me and harder to see/notice the good stuff in life but its there. do you have family/partner/friends around you at the moment?

Hi Slade27,
We haven't spoken before but I saw your posts which sound like you're in a really bad place atm. All I can do is make a few suggestions that have helped me in crisis but feel free to tell me to f-off if I'm overstepping boundaries!
I'm not sure what your relationship status is with the person who was so invalidating- if they're someone you can't end the relationship with- family etc. it might be helpful to express your distress at what was said and then ask them not to contact you/don't contact them for a while- the last thing you need when in crisis is verbal abuse. If it is possible for you to end the relationship, you are perfectly within your rights to ask the person to stop the negative talk and if they don't change their behaviour, to sever the connection- phone numbers deleted, facebook profile blocked, completely remove yourself from the person.
It's great there were suggestions to contact suicide prevention and Lifeline which are useful tools depending on the level of distress you're in. If you feel you're in acute danger, get yourself to an Emergency Department. Granted, I've heard a bit of feedback that people presenting with suicidal ideation will be triaged later than other cases, but at the very least, it means you can be in an area surrounded by other people, and you would be in a hospital, a fairly safe space. I've found with Lifeline that if you're in really deep distress, they'll ask you to call 000 and get an ambulance out to you, which may or may not be what you need.
If this doesn't appeal it might be useful to still contact Lifeline and get them to give you contact details for the CAT team that covers your area. They deal with immediate crisis situations quite effectively- I was taken to one while in a severe crisis episode and they were great in dealing with the immediate intensity of emotion, got me into hospital, then created a care plan which involved them contacting me every day, either by coming to see me, me going to them or doing it via phone, for as long as was required.
If this does not appeal, going and being with a trusted friend or family member who is aware of your mental health status and can provide company, is preferable to being by yourself. Very often, contact with others breaks the rumination cycle and provides perspective which may not be accessible when your head's in a really bad state.
If you're by yourself at home and feel in danger, push yourself under a cold shower, clothes and all. This will give an immediate circuit breaker and will provide necessary activity- you'll have the wet clothes to deal with! I'm not sure how medicated you are but my crisis plan involves taking mood stabilising medication in conjunction with a PRN, allowing me to have a couple of hours of sleep- I find this really effective and things do feel easier for me after I've had a break from the mental distress.
Contacting your GP, and if unavailable, the National Home Doctor Service (bulk-billed, after hours 13HELP, it's amazing!) will get you seen by a professional who can hopefully put you in contact with a psychologist/psychiatrist for some swift assistance. Really useful to contact your treating psyche and asking for a session as soon as possible/ asking for details of their locum, if they're on a holiday break.
When you're in a better place, it might be useful to create a crisis plan for yourself that you can stick on the fridge, ready for an emergency- we're not thinking clearly in crisis and need something easily accessible and simple to follow. List the phone numbers of professional services that are useful/necessary and a list of five people you can get in contact and be with, who are aware of your mental health status.
Feel free to discard anything and everything listed above! Just a few things I found useful and wanted to share because I know that being in crisis is horrendous and needs immediate assistance. Hope it helps, feel free to chat further.
