Dear sza,
It sounds as if you have two major problems, your issues with depression and your relationship with your husband. Are you seeing a GP or other mental health profesional for your depresion? I understand exactly how that feels because I have major depressive episodes with my bi-polar disorder. Are you satisfied that your depression is under control? Especially since you have been taking pills for many years, it might be time for a doctor to look at what you are taking in case he can adjust the medications so they work better.
As for your problems with your husband, might I suggest Couples Therapy or Marital Therapy? Your GP would be able to organize this for you. Basically you and your husband together talk to a counsellor or psychologist about your issues. You would obviously need to go more than once, but talking things over with a trained professional is very effective. I know because my husband I went to counselling several years ago, and it helped us get in touch with each other and taught us ways of communicating better.
There are many ways you can be helped, so do think about making that appointment with your GP.
You are worth it - you are a valuable human being and you owe it to yourself
