narcissistic sister

narcissistic sister

Hi I am a first time user and found that I needed help from other peoples experiences from a narcissistic relative/sister. I have been through a barrage of mental abuse all my life. I have been isolated from my nephews with lies that have been told, they wouldn't dear stand up to their mother. You cannot express yourself with these type of people I have now cut her from my life since January this year but it is amazing the impact these people can have on you. I was told to bring my cancer treatment to the state that my then father lived in and who has since passed away. My response to her was do you know what I was diagnosed with her response was "thats right its all about you". The abuse has been endless. How do you navigate with a narcissistic person?

Hi @Lucygirl

It's awful what you've been through. And I believe anyone who has been involved with a narcissist needs that question answered - how do you navigate them? Many say you can't due their nature, but I don't know. There are lots of past posts about it - if you search

'narcissist' in the search bar a lot of posts come up. I'm sorry you've been through so much and hope you can find some answer soon.

Hugs

Re: narcissistic sister

Hi and welcome, @Lucygirl . That's very sad, your situation. I'm wondering if you have a counsellor or psychologist who you can talk it through with, and maybe get some healing and strategies?

A handy forum tip is if you tag someone by typing @ and then clicking on their name in the drop-down box, that person will get a notification and won't miss your reply.
