@Singer_89 for a long time I had recurring nightmares of actual traumatic events in my past, my mind reliving everything over and over. Couple months ago these nightmares changed, one trigger event was actual but the perpetrator in my nightmares change from at times being original perpetrator whereas other times were people from current times.
In my awake times I’ve recently discovered one recent person has, for many months, been trauma bonding. I’ve cut all ties and connections with this person who lives only few minutes drive from me. Since starting to come to terms with things my nightmares have decreased and all I remember is a hazy mist.
nightmares can be very scary. Quite often the brain is trying to process things when we are in a relaxed state. Do you have anything in your life that might be naturally coming to an end that you might not be comfortable about or dealing well with ie end of school or sport, end of the calendar year approaching?
The mind is an amazing little machine that, at times, can’t process the actual area of concern and, in out nightmares, tries to do the best it can with an event it perceives as trigger or possible trigger
