Hello @Fairladyzx sorry to hear your difficult news. I have a suggestion that might work for financial hardship. You could try putting up a crowdfunding advertisement with "Go Fund Me" which is an online platform that gets you to raise money for all kinds of life situations.
I have known people to raise thousands of dollars. Had an e-mail buddy who got paid to have throat surgery recently. It was touch and go but she was able to raise the funds just in time.
Had another facebook friend who lives on the smell of an oily rag but has a cottage in the mountains (her only asset) which she rents out as a B&B. When the fires came her car went kaput but was able to raise funds for a new vehicle. She needed the car to drive to and from the cottage for managing her B&B.
Her daughter was able to raise funds for a cat they adopted from the pound requiring surgery.
You could of course go to a psychiatric rehab service and start socialising a bit. There are many folks there that could do with a housemate. Had a friend who housed a homeless person after befriending her, saw similar with another person in a gov't high rise. There are many people requiring housemates. You could also put up an ad on your local districts noticeboard on facebook saying you are looking for somewhere to live
I would also go to rehab like what is known as The Clubhouse Movement. There are clubhouses for psych disabled all over Australia. Just hop along. I have met some beautiful people there that would be very sensitive to your plight and able to put you up. They have experienced dire situations themselves and have open hearts.
Good luck with everything. I know you must be struggling but these are my suggestions. The situation may seem daunting but anything is worth a try.
