Hi, I'm female and recently started taking a low-dosage anti-depressant. A side effect I've gotten is that my period is late (haven't had sex so I know it's not that) and I was just wondering how long it has taken for your period to become regular again during taking anti-depressants

My period did stop for 10 years, but that was due to severe emotional distress. I have had my period since then for 17 years on anti-depressants.
I was actually glad that my period stopped for 10 years!
If you are upset about it, could you maybe talk to your GP?
