Melbourne - where can I see someone today?

Melbourne - where can I see someone today?

I'm having serious problems and I really really need to see someone today.

I've tried calling so many numbers who keep telling me it is a 4+ month wait time to see someone.

Nurse on call and help lines, while somewhat helpful, are not providing me the support that I need.

I don't have a mental health care plan and can't see my doctor until tomorrow, which already seems like too far away.
If I call the CATT team, what actually will they do?

@hec I'm sorry to hear things are so tough. I would advise calling the CATT team. They'll conduct an initial assessment and decide how best to support you. Please let us know how you are going.

If you feel that you're in immediate danger please call:

Please call 000 for an ambulance

Lifeline on 131114 or

Suicide Call Back Service online or on 1300 659 467
