Hello , I've dug up a few names, please share with others.

I hope this isn't crossing line, but here we go. I've been trying to get SANE to consider a format something akin to the old BlueBoard style, but to no avail.

A couple of weeks ago I came across a forum site for fibromyalgia, and I love their style. I have the link here, I'd like you to check it out and let the admins know if you think it may be easier to work with than the current style.

I am very genuine, and it so happens my name on there is BlueBells, just like here. I have fibro, and the site is excellent! It is fine to browse the site without being a member.

PLEASE at least look at it and give some feedback. I have written to Rachel and Aisha, but if a few more like it, then numbers count, as always. Thank you.

EDIT on second thoughts I can see others here were actually on Blueboard. I was not. I went there for a look before it closed.(and no one talked to me)

anyway just tried on my phone and I would say Sane looks way better. However, think people also used to talk about different navigation around site. I dont know much about that,

okay 2c worth , the fibro site is much 'calmer' in colours and style. Also having a little bio next to username when replying could be a good idea like they do there.

and I remember people saying what you are saying back when it closed, ok Sane format was different then, but I didnt get it, maybe its familiarity ?

as I said I was Not really a Blueboard user. technically, just, maybe. @BlueBells thanks for the tag,. Hi @PeppiPatty are you still on here ??

Colour is definitely good therapy - green for healing, blue for peace and pink for caring x

hi @BlueBells i see what you mean the fibromialgya web site is clean but as a fully qualified web designer myself it would mean a full redesign of the entire SANE Web Server. it would cost a lot of money to do it and i think they would be better putting that money into help lines and such unless they could find a web company who would do it as a charitable gift.

they are also using a pre made web forum from wordpress, it is like a template focused program @BlueBells.

Hi @TAB

Sorry to hear no one spoke to you. When I was on there, I'd keep an eye out for new messages, as I know what it's like to just be 'left hanging'.

Maybe familiarity, but i do find it's easier. I'll spend some time on each site, back to back, today, and give them a fair assessment for myself, and let you know what I find regarding navigation etc.

I understand that, re the money, and time. I've been asking them to consider the old BlueBoard site before it even closed, and it doesn't ever get beyond "thanks for your comments, appreciated"

When sane asks for suggestions when planning re-design, blank wall again.
