Barbie Movie

Hi all, I watched the new Barbie movie today and omg was it amazing. I had such high expectations, given the hype it had been given online, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was a beautiful, fun, funny, deep, meaningful and influential film that truly moved me. Growing up I loved Barbie, but I am also aware of the negative body and self image issues the idea of Barbie has caused for girls. This movie addressed these ideas, but also expressed that Barbie is so much more than an idea. She is all of us. Every single women, fighting for equal rights, respect, for equal opportunity, and to be treated like a strong powerful influence on society. I genuinely loved it, so I definitely recommend. Also Margot Robbie was just a 10000000/10 as always. 💗👠💅

I didn't realise it was so popular @Ellie11 ! I guess I haven't been really paying attention because I'm not so much inclined to watching movies.

thanks for your review @Ellie11 ive been seeing all the hype on social media about it and i have a 7yr old daughter, so we are going to go and see it next weekend. ill be interested to see how they are address the negative body image issues that barbie has.
