Something’s not right

Apathy

Apathy

it's been a few months since starting, but it feels like the SSRI's may have finally taken hold. To the point of often feeling dimned down and numb. And coming from a space of great turbulence, I'm left to wonder which could be worse: to feel so deeply (one way or another)? Or to not feel at all?

Imagine the sun no longer drawing flowers outward... The moon pulling the hemline of oceans no more... One's blood pooling dormant as the dead sea...

@Kyle1, how are you feeling tonight?

Re: Apathy

hi @creative_writer

In general, not so good. I'm either morbidly morose, or feeling nothing at all. I am keeping up with counsellor appointments and GP visits, but there is nothing proving fruitful at this time. Except, I guess, that each day goes by - and this stuff hasn't killed me. So it's somehow expected I just keep on...

I did manage to sidetrack myself for a little bit tonight, however. I discovered instagram for the first time and found a whole slew of funny clips which felt like good tonic.

How have the migraines been for you, my friend?

@Kyle1, surviving is still an achievement. I hope things do get easier, it's hard living on the edge ❤️ . Funny clips always lift the mood. I get bunny and kitty videos recommended for me, they are so cute and funny.

My migraines are okay right now. I haven't had any auras so far today, hopefully, one doesn't pop up. I feel like I am having an inattentive episode though, but that's expected during the migraine hangover
