LAST CALL! Participants for Forum Co-design Focus Groups

Hi Forums Family,

SANE has been busy working on a MAJOR FORUMS CO-DESIGN. For this, we need YOUR help!

For this project, 'Co-design' means working together with members to figure out how to improve the forums.

We are looking for participants who will be interested in participating in focus groups (via zoom) about the co-design process we will be using. These will be held:

Monday 26 June, 5:30-7:30pm AEST
Thursday 29 June, 2-4pm AEST

These focus groups will NOT be about providing feedback for the forums, but rather, the co-design method we will be using. There will be a Giftcard incentive for those who take part.

Please let us know whether you would be interested in participating by replying below. Members who have already responded will soon be emailed with more detail.

I’m interested to know how participants will maintain the anonymity via zoom???

Great question there. Let's see if this helps answer it:

1) For this zoom session, participants have the option to have their cameras on or off.

2) They will be asked to use a name that is NOT their forums username. So it can be their real name or nickname.

3) Participants are asked not to share anything that may reveal who they are on the forums.

4) The facilitators do not currently work on the forums.

Does that help @Bow ? In other words, it won't be linked to the forums except for the recruiting.

This is an opportunity for us all to be part of developing this space FOR US. There are no better experts than those of us that are part of this community with lived experience. I personally have been a part of this community for over 6 years and in that time I have been privileged to get to know so many wonderful, insightful, caring and supportive people - and this Co-design process is the single most forward-thinking and exciting thing I have seen as it openly WANTS its members to develop the way forward - and every single member (who wants to be) can be part of it - and more-so, every single member has their own experiences and unique voice they can add. There is of course no pressure for anyone to consider taking part but it really feels like WE can actually make a real difference in this process.
