Does anyone else have the experience of random strangers on the street and in shops laughing at them? People nod at me and laugh as though they know me. I don't know what is so funny. I'm average looking, a bit overweight, middle aged. I don't wear outlandish clothes or behave strangely. It is really disconcerting. It makes me feel paranoid and sometimes it makes me want to cry.
