Something’s not right

Moved home

Moved home

Hi everyone! I’m new to this so don’t know how to word things. I’ve just moved home and dad doesn’t understand what I’m going through. I’ve lived out of home in supported accommodation and in and out of hospital but I want that to change. We have a holiday booked for Christmas and it’s a lot of pressure cause none of my family will go if I’m not well enough. I have voices in my head that tell me that no one really wants me :(. Im not going to do anything I just needed to talk and know that people are here

Re: Moved home

Hi @Mooy25 ,

Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear things have been so difficult.

It takes a lot of strength to reach out and share what has been happening for you.

Do you have any supports in place? e.g. a Case manager, social worker, close family/friends?

It's important you get the support you deserve.

Good Luck with move home and getting along with your family.

Its funny how adults iving at home has a different sense in different cultures. I found that white western culture does not accept as much as a norm as in other cultures. I had a support wky from Ghana who told me my little house was fine for son ... to even bring a wife and live all together with muti .. generations. It is the way it was often in the past ...

Great you have friends. Hope you stabilise and get to enjoy your holiday with your family.

Have any of your workers done any Internal Family Systems work with you ... or explored your inner child ... or your inner critic ...
