Cancelled again
So I woke up without a migrane but the moment I walked out into sunlight bam there it was. I went off and did the things I needed too, well most, I ended up having to go to ER to get a referral to Priority Care. I sat at priority care waiting, eyes closed and sunnies on. When they did Obs and I saw the doc I barely opened my eyes. Wasnt trying to be rude but it was bright and it hurt a lot.
Anyhow Doc gave me some meds, stuff I normally take and within 10/15 min I was feeling much better. Though I do feel like I am recovering from a 3 day bender. He also gave me a script for more meds and some repeats.
I got home as I say not feeling 100% myself and I got a call from my Pain Specialists rooms, the surgery for the 17th got cancelled. But Ive been added to the list on the 22nd, which is a certain surgery date but again, despite twice being canned, I am last on the list. So, if he runs out of time again I miss out again. Apparently there are less surgeries this time so it shouldnt be a problem but I am running low on hope.
This is a pretty major procedure for me, I say about whats happened to my sister and she just shrugged her shoulders. Over 20 years of pain and I keep getting denied the procedure that would give me prolonged relief.
I know its only 5 days, if it actually happens, but its certainly failed to cheer me up.
