Insomnia demon

Insomnia demon

So my insomnia demon has been active every night this week.

Monday night I had about 5hrs sleep which was ok, then Tuesday night I slept 3ish hours, Wednesday night I had about 2 and a half hours and a roughly 1hr nap yesterday afternoon I haven't slept tonight.... yet(could still happen it's only 4:30am). So I've basically had less than 12hrs sleep in 4 days and a friend said it didn't sound too bad till I told her that out of the past 94 hours since 6:30am Monday I've had less than 12hrs of sleep or if you divide it equally between Monday to Thursday I've slept less than 3hrs a day. And what does my insomnia demon decide to do this week beside making me complete exhausted but unable to sleep... it talks me into cleaning and rearranging the house which now looks worse than when it started and I feel overwhelmed by the task of fixing it 😭😭😭

Aww thank @NatureLover I didn't really expect a reply honestly I was just rambling cause I'm that tired. But the more tired and exhausted I seem to be the harder it is to sleep so to try and perk myself up to get through the day I've been drinking coffee buts everyone saids I couldn't have more coffee cause my hand are shakey and I can't tell if it from the amount of coffee I've been drinking so I can function, my asthma medication cause it's gone haywire or from just being past overtired.

I have also come to the conclusion that:

Money is evil

Being an adult sucks

And my shoes stink

Hi @Twilightsomniac

Sorry to hear, I feel you! Insomnia is so so horrible. I went through a stage where I literally did not sleep a wink for nights on end. I ended up sleeping in different rooms to try to trick my mind into going to sleep. It didn't help much at all. Mine was mainly hormonal I think because once I got that right my sleep improved. Hope you get some rest soon.
