A lifetime of abuse (trigger warning)

A lifetime of abuse (trigger warning)

It seems I have had a lifetime of people trying to push me down and make me think I'm crazy. Just in the last few days it has become apparent one of my neighbours has been able to access my computer and mess around with it. The most apparent was when I tried to change my login password, it would not let me do it. So I'm left wondering, why would people do this? Is it just a game? And will it ever stop? You'd have to think if they have controlled my life for so long I don't have any chance of escape. I'm basically a prisoner in this life.

Just for clarity, I'd like to include here a definition of abuse from Wikipedia:

"Abuse is the improper usage or treatment of a thing, often to unfairly or improperly gain benefit. Abuse can come in many forms, such as: physical or verbal maltreatment, injury, assault, violation, rape, unjust practices, crimes, or other types of aggression."

EDIT: It just seems, that if you have been a victim of abuse at any point, somehow society sees you as a victim and the abuse continues on. Perhaps the abused display visually that they are weaker? (I know Jordan Peterson talks about this). It's like everywhere I go I get the same treatment, and you get home and are never sure why it's happening. It doesn't seem to matter how polite I am or respectful, in fact it seems to make things worse.

@justanotherguy - That's not a nice neighbour, especially since you should feel safe in your own home. Some people like to have power over others and yes, some people can sense by a person's body language or talking style that they may be able to exploit that power.

when you say abuse, do you mean like a once off or are you talking about a systemic approach to have power over someone, because that abuse might actually be trauma? Are you suffering from trauma from your previous abuse?

Hi @AussieRecharger , lol, I suffer abuse, then I suffer trauma, then I suffer more abuse, then I suffer more trauma. But I think what I see as 'abuse' is perhaps not what other people think it is. I can see with my 'condition' people just expect me to be like them, then when they realise I'm not, they get offensive/defensive and try to hurt me. It's been like that my whole life, not much I can do about it. I'm a square peg in a round hole.

@AussieRecharger, I have no outstanding talents or achievements, I'm average in most ways and have very little to contribute to society except some kooky ideas.
