Something’s not right

The saga continues

The saga continues

Hi to you all. For those that know my story the saga goes on. It is now over 2 months that I have been technically homeless and there’s no end in sight. The agent is a liar and not doing as she promises. At least the text messages have stopped. The lease actually runs out tomorrow but I have to keep subsiding the monster which sucks.
I just hope she doesn’t take my stuff when she eventually gets out.

none of us are coping well I have to put my dogs on anxiety medication and I’m taking mine more than prn.

anyway start a new job tomorrow but still trying to get Ndis.

hope you are all well

Re: The saga continues

@Sirine Are you safe with somewhere to stay tonight?

I've lived out my car before...it's loathsome. Especially with pets.

Re: The saga continues

@Kyle1 I’m safe have been staying with a friend it’s not ideal but all I’ve got. You poor thing having to live in your car hopefully things are better for you now.

im just over being treated like a non person. What happened was dv but because we aren’t in a relationship there’s nothing I can do.
I just hope that one day I will find safe and long term housing and peace. I’m so tired of always fighting.

thanks for your support

@Sirine

Thank you! I do have a house now. With more rooms than I actually need!

I still struggle, though. Family break up. DV. Even my dogs have been stolen from me by my ex...

Re: The saga continues

@Kyle1 Glad you have a home. Sorry about your dogs that really sucks. I don’t have a partner but have a few exs. I really doubt I will ever have a partner again as for friends don’t even want those. The world has shown me you can’t trust anyone which is really sad.
oh well will just have to see where the wind blows me I guess 😊

Re: The saga continues

Yeah, I get that.

It compounds the sense of isolation. And can make one grow rather bitter and angry. I am learning to allow the grief to do it's thing. It will either end me, or not... I don't know.

Re: The saga continues

@Kyle1 I get that. Grief is difficult and plays out differently for everyone but you can get through it. It never goes away but you learn to live with it. I am not bitter just tired I just want peace. Have been doing a lot of healing work and heaps of journaling. You’ll get there hun it just takes time. I’m really learning patience at the moment I’m past angry and depressed.

Re: The saga continues

Patience....

They say, 'expect nothing and be fulfilled'.

Almost seems nihilistic, but there can be peace in surrender like that. And then, hopefully, new brighter prospects might bloom within. Something positive to look forward to...

Re: The saga continues

@Kyle1 Positive is a word I used very cautiously as it seems everytime I get positive things turn to mud. I will just keep going as best I can that’s all I can do. Totally energy depleted at the moment been in bed by 7 and up around 7 and tired all day. Maybe it just a phase of recovery from so much stress who knows

Re: The saga continues

Hmm ... you're describing my kind of day so far...

@Sirine

Are you planning to do anything particular later? Are you musical?

I have a guitar which I used to love but now my motivation is way below the floor...

Re: The saga continues

It’s not like me I’m usually unable to sleep. I’m starting a new job tomorrow and I’m back to writing poetry which I haven’t done in years.
pick up the guitar and just play around with it for 10 mins see if that helps.
