Something’s not right

Same new day

Same new day

I've woken with shakes and anxiety.

I don't look forward to anything. Instead I think of ythe things I must do and feel I can't and it ties me in knots.

And the thought that I can't do these things then causes me to weep and breakdown...

Like work ( which is still two days away). And getting up to go out to church. And all other sorts of must do appointments...

Aarrrgggghhhh... !

Please, I can't stand such a loveless existence. And I've so far no help to make it all go aw@Y!!!

Re: Same new day

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious. You are a strong and capable person who is capable of overcoming these feelings.

Remember that it's okay to take small steps towards achieving your goals, and to ask for help along the way. You can start by taking care of yourself, practicing self-care activities like exercise, meditation, or a relaxing hobby.

You are incredible and amazing just the way you are. You have the ability to do great things and overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Take a deep breath, focus on the present moment, and take things one step at a time.

Remember that it's okay to seek help if you need it. Whether it's talking to a friend or family member, seeking professional counseling or therapy, or finding a support group, there are people who care about you and want to help you through this difficult time.

You are not alone, and you are capable of overcoming your challenges. Keep going, and know that you are loved and appreciated.

@JoleneZachari thank you.

Those thoughts have no room when these feelings take hold. That's the problem, see?

Re: Same new day

I understand exactly how you feel, as I have been in a similar situation before and am currently going through a similar experience (PTSD&Restless leg syndrome). It seems that I'm experiencing a shift in my emotions from intense highs and lows to a more neutral state. To help myself cope with this change, I remind myself of the phrase "fake it till you make it." It's not easy (impossible)to just snap out of it, especially when we are faced with people or situations that add more pressure to our lives.

I want you to know that I'm here because I also need help, and I appreciate the effort you made in reaching out to this forums.Your message means a lot to me, and it's comforting to know that we are not alone in feeling these difficult emotions.

Despite everything we're going through, you are still here , I am still here, we are still here, and that is something to be proud of. 🙂

@JoleneZachari Thanks, journey.

Yes, "fake it til you make it" does feel impossible. Maybe one day...but increasingly I'm getting the opposite intrusive thoughts and malingering feeling. More prolonged. More persistent. I often don't know what to do anymore. I feel beyond help most days...

Re: Same new day

It's natural to have intrusive thoughts and feel helpless when dealing with challenging situations. It's important to know that it's perfectly fine to not have all the answers and feel uncertain about what to do next. By acknowledging your emotions and reaching out for support, you're taking an important step forward. Keep in mind that progress takes time, so be patient and gentle with yourself and to celebrate each small victory along the way, even if it's just taking a moment to breathe deeply. Challenge your thoughts: When you have a bad thought, try to challenge it with evidence that contradicts it. For example, if you have the thought, "I'm beyond help," challenge it by listing times when you've received help in the past. As I reside in a remote area with limited support resources, I often feel uncertain about finding hope or assistance. To manage my stress and uncertainty, I have found solace in speaking to myself or turning to prayer as a source of comfort. Or just write it down & to scribble.
