Hey, new to this group.
I thought I was fine. I thought it was ok. I’d put it behind me. But just watched ‘luckiest girl alive’ and it brought it back. I just hope im doing a good enough job to make sure my kids don’t end up like me

I just googled the title. (Almost wish I hadn't). The headlines are reflecting a lot people feeling the same way. It's disappointing to say the least. I believe their are right ways to cover (whatever material it's covering) but people really should take the time to responsibly measure impacts.
I'm so sorry you had to sit through what they did. I also appreciate the warning.

I had to be very careful with movie and screen content as I was very easliy triggered for a long time. I avoid a lot of fiction if it is too manipulative, and I feel yanked all over the place for very little reason. I am a bit better now. Know that feeling of a being a mother and not wanting to let past trauma effect the littlies. You can only do your best and be kind to yourself.
