Hi @Wayney,
Welcome to the Forums. My name is FloatingFeather an I am one of the peer support workers at SANE. This is a safe, anonymous space with many supportive members from a wide range of lived experiences.
I know how you feel about depression and anxiety - I have had both on and off most of my adult life. They are not easy feelings to sit with sometimes but the good news is they are both very manageable with the right support.
I really don't want to come off as preachy as I believe everyone has the right to autonomy but would you be open to talking to your GP about your alcohol use? I understand that in the short-term it may relieve your anxiety and depression but in the long term it may be actually making it worse, particularly if you are taking medication for anxiety/depression.
I have added a link to some more information around anxiety and depression if you are interested.

I have also attached a link to other forum chats around lived experience with alcohol and drug use.

Wishing you all the best and look forward to seeing you in the Forums.
Best wishes,
