Something’s not right

Meds Change

Meds Change

I’m so anxious and stressed about this new medication nobody told me what meds I can take and not take, I’ve asked my doctors clinic they don’t know, called my pharmacy they didn’t want to hear it. It interferes with some of my other meds that I take. I’ve looked online and it says what meds I can’t take and that’s most of them. It’s really anxiety provoking.

if anyone has any ideas on what other steps I could do or any other services I could contact to ask that would be great.

im safe aswell

Re: Meds Change

Hey @Fluttershy1

I am sorry that you are going through this at the moment, I can understand how it would be causing anxiety and concern! It sounds like it might be worthwhile bringing up with the doctor who prescribed this medication.

I wonder if you are able to give the Healthdirect Helpline (known as Nurse-On-Call in Vic) a call: 1800 022 222 for advice and reassurance.

Of course if it is urgent please do not hesitate to call 000.

I hope that you are able to get some clarity about it all, it is not a nice feeling to be sitting with 💛

@Peregrinefalcon - tried them, they didn’t know what to say or do. I’ll just wait until next week.
