Can't think of a heading
Last week I got the keys to my new flat and spent the week moving in all my stuff and slowly unpacking everything.
I had to go to the ex's place the other day to pick up the remainder of my stuff. He came home while we were there and I ended up giving him a piece of my mind. I told him to make sure whatever he was doing to not do the dirty on someone else and go behind their back. To which he replied that he works on 'pure consent'. It was such a kick in the guts, where was the consent when I asked him to stop receiving pornographic pictures? Or when I was told I HAD to disappear for the weekend so he could ahve another woman share our bed? What about the consent when I asked him to stop talking about our relationship with someone who had ulterior motives? There was no consent I said no, he continued anyway. What a hypocrite. He makes me sick.
So I told him to stop going around and telling people that I had a psychotic break over nothing, to which he replied "But you did, and they don't need to know the sordid details" So I told him the truth that the two of them caused it and they were the reason I had a meltdown in the first place. I told him that he was the cause of my mental health problems and that if I wanted to tell people the truth I would because the sordid details were the cause of everything and that he can't go around saying that shit without giving the actual background.
I then got asked to leave. He asked me to leave because I finally held him accountable for what he did, I held him accountable for his actions and he didn't like that. He couldn't handle the fact that I've gained enough strength to not be gaslit anymore and speak my mind.
There was some deep catharsis in my outburst, usually after an outburst I feel deep guilt and remorse, this time I felt very empowered, I finally spoke up without fear of the repercussions and told him what I think of him.
I have finally, with the help of a close friend, been able to see that he left me for another woman, he tossed me aside so he could bed a married woman, not really the kind of guy I want to spend the rest of my life with and to think, that was the plan.
On to some more positive news. I HAVE MY PUPPERS BACK!!!! I can't believe how much I missed the little sods, I'm enjoying loads of snuggles at night and find myself sleeping better as well
