Not coping well here. Very cold and feeling panicky and alone. Phone battery is flat and iPad is only working intermittently with the internet now. Was ok earlier. Kids are rattled too. Gah... Then there's the howling wind and bangs and crashes! Sigh

Hoping you're ok and your kids too. The storm sounds very scary. Think Melbourne is next. I hate windy stormy nights and you have no power that's terrible.

@Former-Member I guess snuggle up together through it .. it looked horrendous on TV.
Its amazing that despite the lack of power people can post ... I guess you have batteries in computer.

Do you still have time to prepare for the storm @BlueBay, e.g. getting loads of candles, charging up the power bank for the phone and tablet, batteries for the radio. I find it rather comforting to be prepared.

I'm going interstate but it has been pushed back a few hours beacsue it is to dangers to drive in this weather. It is scary.
